The infamous Ripper a.k.a Stefan Salvatore a.k.a Paul Wesley got married for the third time, to his long-time girlfriend, Natalie Kuckenburg. While I’m still processing my first ever celebrity crush’s happily ever after, I do celebrate the two. Let’s know all about the union.
The Announcement That Broke the Internet
Or, at least me.
On July 13, 2026, Natalie Kuckenburg took to Instagram with a simple, heart-melting caption: “Mr. and Mrs. and the Best Boy Greg.” The post featured a carousel of dreamy, very Natalie-like wedding photos: the couple exchanging vows under palm trees, sharing a kiss post-ceremony, and posing with their dog Greg, just perfect.
Intimate Is The New Normal
Considering Paul’s marital history, it’s easy to assume what his wedding size would be.
No 200-guest guest list. No celebrity-packed reception. Paul Wesley, 43, and Natalie Kuckenburg, 26, opted for a private civil ceremony attended only by an officiant and their beloved pup.
The outdoor setting was simple, elegant, and deeply personal, a far cry from the supernatural chaos of Mystic Falls and the unwanted guests that come with it. The design screamed their vibe.
The Lucky Venue
The articulate design I mentioned earlier is only complete with the perfect venue.
The couple tied the knot at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse, a historic Spanish Colonial Revival landmark known for its hand-painted murals, sunken gardens, and gorgeous tilework. It’s a famous spot for intimate courthouse weddings, just like Paul and Natalie’s
Again, fulfilling their desire for a low-key and architectural grandeur ceremony.
The Wedding Attire
How could the bride’s dress not have its own main character moment? Natalie walked down the aisle in a stunning Galia Lahav LILOU gown, a long, spaghetti-strapped silk white dress that was effortlessly elegant and chic. The minimalist silhouette let the moment speak for itself.
No fuss, no frills: just a bride who looked every bit the part.
Catching up with the similar vibe, Paul Wesley wore an understated navy blue suit with a classy black tie for the ceremony. Clean and simple: exactly his aura.

The Location That Started It All
The wedding came just days after the couple was spotted holidaying on the Amalfi Coast. And here’s the full-circle moment: Paul later revealed they chose the venue because it was where they had their first official date, some hotel in Italy.
The wholesomeness of their love story makes me happy and jealous at the same time, heavier on the happy side.
A Year After the Ring
For those wondering if it was a rushed wedding, no.
In fact, Paul proposed to Natalie in July 2025, almost a year before their wedding. The engagement announcement came via Instagram, with Natalie sharing the news to excited fans (i.e. me). Fast forward one year, and the couple made good on that promise: no long engagement, no waiting around.
This doesn’t mean that I still didn’t gasp as soon as I heard the good news about the two tying the knot.
Greg The Dog
Just aside the couple, we see an adorable dog, catching spotlight and rejoicing the union of his parents.
Let’s be real, the real star of the wedding was Greg. The couple’s dog was given the honorary title of “Best Boy” and featured prominently in the wedding photos. If there was a wedding party, Greg was the only member. And honestly? I suppose we wouldn’t have it any other way.
What Followed After
If you thought the wedding spam was over, think again.
A day afer the official marriage announcement, Natalie posted another sort of BTS carousel of her big day. Captioning it as, “We decided to get married 24hrs prior to the wedding so here I am trying to find a dress that fits perfect, driving up to San Ysidro Ranch and waking up at 7 am to do my hair and make up for our 8 am courthouse wedding 🤍
So worth it and so fun!”
My favorite detail from this carousel is the Kuckenburg-Wasilewski nameplate, just too beautiful.
Seems like 2026 is the year of the most awaited wedding, first T&T, then JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk, now Paul Wesley and Natalie Kuckenburg.
As for the groom, I hope third time is the charm for him, wishing the newlyweds all the love!
