The wedding of the year has finally happened! All TayVis fans assemble! And nothing would make me happier than dissecting what all big names attended it, with what lavishing couture on their body. The Bride And Groom
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were adorned in Dior, both their pieces designed by the newly appointed creative director, Jonathan Anderson. While Swift wore a bespoke Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, pairing it up with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewellery with her engagement ring as the statement accessory.
Travis also wore a custom tux by Christian Dior, keeping it classy. Notably, this was Anderson’s first-ever couture wedding dress made for a major celebrity, like Swift. If online reactions are anything to go by, we can say, Swift may have brought the glitz, but Kelce brought the charisma.”
The Not-So-Traditional-Bridal-Party
Another interesting fact about the T & T wedding, their bridal party was not like the ones we see quite often. The power couple skipped past the conventional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift served as the “Man of Honour”, and likewise, Travis’s brother Jason Kelce as his best man, doing things entirely based on their free will for their wedding.
The A-List Guest Looks
Starting off right with the epitome of a best friend, Selena Gomez. She wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown for the rehearsal dinner, accessorised with Fernando Jorge earrings. Dakota Johnson, perhaps my most favourite, wore the most gorgeous halter-neck black dress with a thigh-high slit, with a Valentino Rockstud Spike Bag on her shoulder and bow-adorned toe-peeping pumps.
Alongside these, a few others like Camila Cabello, styled as an ode to Swift’s Red era, wearing a crimson off-shoulder lace gown from Zimmermann’s Spring 2026 collection, with a black choker; and Karlie Kloss, embellished in a strapless metallic satin dress with strappy sandals, were easily spotted
Gigi Hadid and Zoe Kravitz (Harry Styles’ fiancée) were also confirmed attendees for the wedding.
Numbers To Blow Your Mind
Reportedly, the entire area around Madison Square Garden was shut down, while the wedding ran late into the night, around 2:00 A.M., costing a rough estimate of $20 Million. The grand wedding itself included 100-guests rehearsal dinner followed by a main event with over 1,000 guests.
According to other sources, the event also had performances by the infamous Stevie Nicks, instantly reminding me of the lyrics “You look like Stevie Nicks” (Clara Bow) by Taylor, and Tim McGraw. Yes, even I wish she invited me, after all, I am her disciple and she did emotionally raise me.
While you and I can’t stop dreaming of this wedding with “Lover” playing in the background, it’s time to burst out of our bubble, and accept that our close personal friend, Taylor Swift, indeed didn’t invite us to her wedding, unless-she did plan something? Only, time can tell, and while I am quite impatient, seems like we can’t do anything else.
However, I fear, my most favourite fashion detail of the wedding isn’t the bride or groom’s attire, but their officiator’s; Adam Sandler being the iconic guy he is, showed up in the most comfortable outfit, a baggy shirt and loose shorts and honestly that look lightened my gloom of not being able to attend the wedding.
