We love Galentine’s Day! You don’t need to have a partner in order to have fun at that time of the year when there’s hearts and chocolate everywhere! After all, isn’t friendship one of the purest forms of love?
The Galentine tradition started on the TV show Parks and Recreation and besties everywhere adopted it ever since! It is a celebration of friendship that is observed on the day before Valentine’s Day. It honors the strength of girls lifting up other girls, platonic love, and girl power! You can even celebrate both that and Valentine’s Day if you like! Both holidays still embrace making lovey-dovey crafts and belting out cheesy power ballads but there’s something really empowering when you’re doing all that with your gal pal!
